Popcorn is delicious in its own right, but if you're a fanatic, like me, you'll find yourself craving new ways to dress up your popcorn. These six ideas helped me avoid the terrifying snack time boredom.

1. Cinnamon and Sugar

Dazzling your popcorn in cinnamon and sugar essentially turns your afternoon snack into a delectable dessert! The combination of sweet and salty is perfect. You'll want to make sure to sprinkle your popcorn with cinnamon and sugar as soon as it is finished popping so the toppings will best adhere to the popcorn.

2. Parmesan Cheese and Italian Seasoning

Throw in a little tomato sauce and you'd have yourself a pizza! Again, make sure you throw your toppings on as soon as your popcorn has finished popping.

3. Garlic Salt

If you're a garlic fanatic (like moi) some days plain old garlic salt will do the trick for spicing up your popcorn. Sprinkle on a liberal amount as soon as your delicious kernels have finished their popping process and dig in! Don't forget to brush your teeth or gargle some mouthwash before any meetings.

4. Chili Powder

If you're looking to spice up your afternoon snacking session try throwing a little chili powder on your popcorn. It will provide a little kick to get you going!

5. Fall Harvest Popcorn

One of my all-time favorite ways to enjoy popcorn is with the addition of caramel squares, fresh apple slices, and M&M's candy pieces. These great mix-ins make this the motherload of snacks with a perfect mixture of salty from the popcorn, sweet from the caramels, tangy from the apples, and decadence from the chocolate candies. It's truly great when you can get a bite of each of the awesome flavors!

6. Valentines Day Popcorn

A simple and quick mix-in for your popcorn is red hot cinnamon hearts. The little bit of color and the sweet heat from the cinnamon candies compliments the salty crunch of the freshly popped popcorn.
