There Is A Key To Your Success
If you’re starting any business whether it is a traditional one, network marketing or in direct sales but you run it the same way everyone else does, in the end you may not get what you set out to happen.
Although that doesn’t sound encouraging here are some ideas to generate more sales since it’s always a good idea to be different from the rest of the pack. We’ll focus on network marketing since there are hundreds of thousands of you out there.
This isn’t to suggest you must do everything differently. Conference calls still work but if you didn’t know it the real savvy marketers are utilizing webinars today which is a very effective tool. So how do you do it? What are the things you can do to separate yourself? The good news is you already know the answer is Marketing but the key is lots of marketing, original (as possible) kinds of marketing and this means more than just buying leads.
If you really, and I mean really, think outside the box there is a fortune to be made out there.
Robert Kiyosaki, the best-selling author of the Rich Dad series of books, said when you’re starting a business it’s a good idea to find out what everyone else is doing and then do the exact opposite. People who often take the greatest risk receive the greatest reward but it’s never without a price. If you are prepared to do the grunt work then be prepared to reap the rewards.
Here’s another secret you won’t hear too often, especially on the ‘net: be prepared to spend some money. It’s seems everywhere you read it says ‘free this’ ‘free that’ ‘get your product in front of millions for free’ etc. etc. If you want to make money you have to spend some too. You don’t have to spend a fortune but the people who are committed to their businesses will spend the necessary amount.
Try radio advertising, how many network marketers do that? You might be surprised at how relatively inexpensive it is and since many stations work on a contra basis, in other words bartering; you give them your product in exchange for the equivalent in advertising spots. Another suggestion is to try branding your name, the more you do it the more people will associate and trust your name with the product.
As people we are naturally creative beings. We were not put on Earth to just pay bills so when you make time for your business, sit down in a quiet room and take 10-20 minutes to think of ideas on how to get your message out there. You may surprise yourself!
There are companies out there that know how to market themselves. Search the Internet, with literally three billion web pages in cyberspace there’s no shortage of ideas right in front of you.
