6 Essential Principles to Succeeding In Business
Ken Bretschneider's 6 Keys To Success
1. Focus On Income - Search for a variety of ways to generate wealth. Get creative- consider all sorts of possibilities. Each time new technology or ideas are introduced into the market, the people's wants and needs change. Find a need and then find out how you're going to fill it.
2. Relax and Float the River - Allow things to happen in their own time. Bearing in mind all the madness of daily life, it is no wonder that it takes time for your new company or product/service to begin receiving some attention. Be patient. If you have followed correct principles, the benefits will certainly come.
3. Squandering Funds - Don't stack up liabilities, offices, furniture and needless expenses before you figure out your revenue model. The idea that you should "fake it until you make it" is not true in business. Much needed funds can quickly be frittered away when you start attempting to appear to be a thriving business. This is the road to debt and destruction of your company.
4. Decide on Facts not Fiction - Take the time to research and evaluate the facts. Allow yourself to dream big but then follow that up by using your thinking and logic skills to evaluate the facts and decide if it is realistic.
5. Don't Shoot Just To Say You Did - If it doesn't make sense, and you haven't even created a revenue model, do not do it. This is another time when you must be patient. Don't begin a new company until you know it's the right one. A great business idea will come along if you'll simply give it time.
6. Stay Market Driven - Focus on your company's revenue model and modify quickly to find the right mixture and a model that customers will buy. Prior to launching a new product ask "What problem do consumers have that this new product would solve? Which people have the problem? Roughly how many people deal with this problem? How much cash could those people pay?" and lastly ask "What is my solution?" Never give your ideas to the market if you haven't even checked whether or not the market actually wants them.
