Wimmers are a well known Australian soft drink brand that don’t compromise on quality and taste. We all love a sweet, tingly, refreshing soft drink and with Wimmers flavors you can never go wrong. As a company that has worked hard to come second to none, they have gained great respect and notability. Very few people are unaware of the brand name Wimmers or have not tried their fantastic drinks range. Wimmers have created a brand new drink that is set to get people talking and coming back for more. So how did they do it and what is their plan.

Wimmers have made a grand move in strategies and developed a new drink that is set to target generations X and Y. Their blue creaming soda with a secret twist is set to take the beverage stage by storm as Wimmers Crave Blue. Wimmers have never before focused on this particular group of consumers and so far it is paying off. The product’s success has already been predicted by the supportive distributors even before the initial launching was done. Wimmers intend to keep their existing customers happy with their classics but also grow a whole new customer base with the cool and bold sub brand Crave. The development of Wimmers Crave has been given life with the assistance of design agency, Wilson Bartzis Design. This saw an image that is bold and edgy come to life to catch eyes in this competitive market.

So that Wimmers knew their new Wimmers Crave Blue would stand out and attract the eye of the younger demographic they had market research done before the design work was begun. Because they have never before targeted this group, Wimmers will be keeping a close eye on the reaction of consumers for the following months. With such great potential for Crave, Wimmers hope to reach a new market and create a completely new following of customers. Along with ensuring the new Wimmers Crave is positioned where it is easily seen by consumers, Wimmers will offer sampling alongside promotional merchandise. One way of promoting the output sales of Wimmers Crave is by advertising and posting it on items such as shirts, stickers, fridges and even on hats. The name Crave came about in a national competition held on the Wimmers Facebook page. The competition aptly titled Name Me and Win drew many great ideas but ultimately it was Crave that stood out from the crowd.

With plans to create and release a new exciting flavor each year, Wimmers will aim to expand their hold on the market in Australia and continue to reach new market groups.
