Thirdly, study the compensation plan. Join the opportunity that pays the highest commissions if all other things are equal.

You are going to make more money selling products offering a higher commission rate provided you are offering a good quality product that is in demand and provides you with good marketing materials to promote it.

Fourthly, study the competition. You don't want to get into a market that may be too competitive.

Using the main keyword phrase of the online business opportunity you are interested in do a search in the search engines and check out some of the websites that come up on the first page of the search results. You have a far better chance of success if you find niches that are less competitive.
