A home comprises of hearts plus other essential and non-essential things, whereas, a house consists of essentials and non-essentials plus the people who live inside it.
In the latter the residents live don't necessarily need hearts but the essential part of the former to maintain it as a sweet home is hearts of living humans in love, Co-operation, compromise and mutual understanding including a number of virtuous motives of living lively.

So, a home either paradise or hell or else depends on the quality of hearts that reside inside it.
