Liability Coverage

Liability coverage is a govt. requirement and usually it is divided into two parts which are property damage and bodily injured. One only gets the coverage if the insured car is faulty or the insured car is guilty. In both of the covers the car owner do not get even a single penny as these are the covers meant for other people use In the first part that is property damage, if the car meets with an accident and the other car get damaged then the damaged car’s owner will get the cover. And in bodily injured cover if the driver or the passengers of other car get hurt then they can claim the money.

Both of these covers have to be there in the insurance policy because of the law. Each and every state has their own requirements regarding the liability coverage and this is advised that one should check that what is the liability coverage required in their state, before buying an insurance policy.

Collision Coverage

This cover is not required as per the current govt. rules. This covers the damage of the cover. In this the injury to the driver as well as to the passengers is not covered.
