Share the sandbox with google and they'll pay you very well.

There's no point trying to beat google at their own game. Google had laid it all out for you, made it easy for you to make a crazy amount of money with them. And why wouldn't they. They make it so easy even a monkey can make money with them. Follow their TOS. Read over how they suggest you place the ads and in a short amount of time you'll be on your way to earning a very decent amount of money with them. It's the ultimate partnership. Think about what other multi-billion dollar company wants to team up with you to make some money. NONE.

Here are 4 things that Google doesn't want you to do.

1.) Fooling around their html coding

2.) Telling visitors to click the ads.

3.) Don't have hate related, gambling related or more ads than content.

4.) Clicking your ads or having software do it for you.

All and everything else as long as it hunky dory with their TOS is open game

Getting Started With AdSense

Getting started with Google Adsense is stupidly simple, if you want to start earning an income from Google Adsense there is really only one way to do it.

1) Get a website! Or a free blogging account. That's really the nuts and bolts absolute basic-basic of getting started with Google Adsense. You need some place to market the ads. DUH!!

I'm going to save you a whole bunch of money here so read this carefully.

I bought the entire how to market Google Adsense e-Books along with all the Videos, the tutorials, signed up for the free adsense optimized website templates.

Here is what it all comes down to: Adsense tells you all this by the way.

1) Blend Your Ads within your website.

Cleverly disguise the ads so they appear to be navigation through the site. (make them look like they are part of the site) Do this by removing the border color blending them into the theme color scheme of your website. Choose the same font size and font color.

Most people are savvy to marketing and ads some aren't so savvy. So you have to convince them they're not ads. Google doesn't say this exactly. But that's the basic of it.

Draw some attention to them. Dress them up like you would a beautiful woman.

2) Maximize your ad real estate.

(Google will allow you to place up to three Ads on any given page, and some text links --- Use them all!) See the heat map below. Google has done extensive human research to determine where to place ads. So google allows you to place up to 3 ads , so fill the rest of the heat map with ads from other sources.

Ok I just summed up how to get rich with Google adsense into a few sentences. I should have charged you an arm and leg for that info.

Ok now you're looking at that heat map and thinking you've just struck a gold mine.

What is the best performing ad block? See that red box dead center there. That's a 336x280 large rectangle or a 300x250 medium rectangle. The box right above is a 728x90 leader box.

Guess what people like clicking on links. Sounds simple doesn't it. Do you know what color a link is? Blue obviously. But what color blue #0000FF

Which ones are the worst? Simple ones that look like banners most banners are 486x60 so steer clear of that one.

Filtering the google adsense ads

Google Adsense has many ways that they filter the ads that are shown on your website. It is a good idea for you to become familiar with each of them so that you can have a better understanding of how the ads are displayed on your site.

Why is this so important?

Because, if you know how the filters work, you will be better able to edit the content on your site to get the highest quality of ads on your pages. The higher the quality of the ad the, bigger the payout on your click throughs.

Say for instance you discover a high paying keyword like "quick cash" that you want to target your Google ads to, but Adsense keeps displaying ads that aren't exactly what you were hoping for.

Then you know it's time to tweak your pages to make sure that the keyword that you are targeting is repeated enough in the text so Adsense will display the highest quality ad on your page. It takes some time and experimenting, but once you understand how the filters work it will make your job easier.

If you need help knowing what your keywords are worth go to:

http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/rc/srch/ and use the "View Bids Tool" it will show you exactly how much advertisers are paying per click on any word you type in. The higher the price the better.

Google has also provided a handy little filter called the.... "Competitive Ad Filter"

I love this one! You can use it to keep certain ads from showing up on your site. Adsense will actually allow you to specify competitors or advertisers whose ads should not be displayed on your page. How great is that? Let's say you are selling a specific product from the page where your ad blocks are displayed. The last thing you want is someone selling the same thing to advertise on that page.
