Create a themed basket -- go for an Italian theme. You could use a colander for the basket. Add gourmet noodles, garlic bulbs, a spoon, some pasta sauce, cheese, and spices.

Put together a cookie mix kit - a favourite of all. In a mason jar, put together all the dry ingredients along with the instructions for a cookie recipe so that all they will have to do is put it all together and bake. Oh so yummy!

Make a personalized mirror - buy some inexpensive mirrors, find a picture or a word that best suits the receiver, then etch or paint the image or word onto the mirror. Add a few pieces of bling and voila, you have a fabulous forever gift to give.

Give homemade granola - do you know someone who loves granola? You can make your own homemade granola with raisins, nuts, cinnamon, cranberries, cherries, and so much more. What a delicious and healthy gift that would be.

Make some tile coasters - using small tiles. Paint or stamp a design onto the tiles. Glue a piece of felt to the underside, stack them carefully, and then tie them with a ribbon. These are inexpensive, unique, and useful.

Frame it - make a decorative frame. Take a plain picture frame and add your own touch of décor to it with acrylic paint, beads, ribbon, and polymer clay. Imaginative and creative.

Design a flower pot - hand paint or decorate a flower pot. Fill it with a plant. Beautiful!
