Ideas to Make Extra Money Online
In this tough economy we are all looking for additional ways to supplement our income, or if you are one of the unfortunate individuals whose company is not doing well and downsizing, online may present an opportunity that could be right for you.
Searching for a new job is a full time job within itself, but the Internet makes it possible to do some work from home while you are searching for your next career move. I am sure you have heard of stories of people who made millions, which is possible, but a more realistic goal is to make a few hundred dollars every month to pay some bills and have some extra spending money.
You can start by clearing out the clutter and old stuff from your cellars and attics and listing them for sale on eBay. You are not using these items anyway so you mind as well sell them to someone that can use them and make some money in the process.
Ok so maybe you don’t have any junk, you are like a friend of mine, a neat freak if you will, so that leaves you with nothing to sell. Or you are like someone else I know and all that crap is worth something, well to you anyway, so you don’t want to sell it. If you like to write you have a number of options you can go with.
Option 1 is to start your own blog and post Google or Yahoo! Ads on it and every time your visitors click on an ad you earn revenue. Of course your blog will have to be on something people will go and read and then you have to get them to read it.
Option 2 is to write for existing websites. In other words instead of starting your own blog, you contribute articles to existing websites that are already receiving thousands of hits and they pay you based on the popularity of the article that you write. There are literally dozens of these websites out there but my favorites are Bukisa ad eHow.
On Bukisa you submit articles, videos, audio or pictures and then you are paid based on the popularity of whatever it is you upload. On eHow you submit How to videos or articles. These articles must be written in such a way to teach the reader how to do something. Again the more popular the article is, the more you get paid.
These are just a few of the many ways you can make money online. Give them a try and see which ones work best for you. Just keep in mind that your results will vary depending on how much effort you put into it. Making money online is the same as offline. The more you put in, the more you get out.
