Reject Rejection Now and Guarantee Your Success

Fear of Rejection is one of the most debilitating diseases that exists in the world today.

It stops people making progress, it stops relationships developing. It stops innovation, it stops people from borrowing, it stops people from advancing in their careers and it stops parents being stricter on their children.

The funny thing is that each and every one of the above scenarios leads to a better life, a more fulfilling life and in some instances a more challenging one.

The comfort zone.

The comfort zone is a dangerous place to exist and stay because it can cause fear to build and the greatest fear that it nourishes is loss. If I do that I might lose what I already have, so I will not do that. If you operate out of your comfort zone at some point during your day your life will be better for it.

Relate all this back to sales. Sales people do not “put themselves out there” enough because they cannot handle the rejection in their own minds.

Picture this scenario. I train as a business coach. I invest in myself and set about a life long plan of self development. My message is clear. My mindset is focussed and positive for success. I’m pumped. Now, all I’ve go to do is find myself some business owners that I can coach to greatness. Brick Wall. They will not talk to me, they are not interested. They will call me back. The rejection starts to get to me. I have so much to offer and no one wants it. Boo Hoo.

Reject Rejection

The reality in this case was that my presentation of my self and my product was wrong. The potential clients did not get it and I expected them to get it within 2 minutes of meeting me. It did not matter that it took me months to decide to become a business coach.

The message here is that you can reduce and eliminate the chances of rejection by learning to understand more about your prospective customers, by understanding whats important to them and by focussing your energy on giving rather than receiving.

If you give, its harder to be rejected.

Also remember that when you meet prospective clients and they decide not to purchase, that’s OK, It may not be the right time for them, it may be a cashflow thing, it may be that they have other things going on. Replace the NO with “Not Right Now” and then say NEXT
